A functional "how to guide" on preparing the body for safe and effective back bending.

This workshop is design to assist those who need a little more guidance, awareness and anatomy and physiology knowledge in order to enjoy back bending. If you ever leave a vinyasa flow practice with pain in your lower back then this workshop will be helpful for you to understand the required core preparation in order to create stability in the lower body in order to rise up and find freedom in the upper body and heart space. 

 

The afternoon will move at a pace that allows participants to watch demonstrations, absorb new information and then put it into practice.

 

This workshop is a prerequisite for anyone attending the Higher Ground Day Retreat, on Sunday 6th January 2019, who is unsure how to backbend safely with minimal guidance. Open to beginners and anyone seeking to gain more technical understanding of asana (physical yoga practice).
