Description: The first 70 min of this class is a grounding and releasing (yin/lunar quality) Vinyasa Flow practice. Enjoy a longer inversion and forward folding cycle at the end of class to cool and calm down while returning blood to the vital organs before dropping into deep relaxaion in Yoga Nidra. We explore pathways to full inversions such as headstand and shoulderstand so the class will still challenge you while staying calm and relaxed. You will sleep like a baby after this class.

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided deep relaxation or conscious sleep where we enter the inner chambers of the mind to find deep rest even more powerful than regular sleep. Perfect for anyone new to meditation, experiencing over-stimulation and difficulty sleeping or any other form of nervous system disturbance resulting from the fast pace of modern life. The entire 20 min Yoga Nidra experience is spent lying down in complete stillness so please bring anything that makes your experience as lush and comfortable as possible. Socks and a blanket are a great idea.
