Sky Mind is a 30 minute meditation class geared at assisting students to develop their own regular meditation practice. We leave the focus on the physical body behind and explore the realms of mind and energy through the other 5 limbs of the yoga path; pranayama (breath), pratyahara (sensory transcendence), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation) and Samadhi (bliss). In the first 15 minutes of class you will be guided through mudra, mantra and breath work. The last 15 minutes we sit in unguided mindfulness meditation.
Chairs are available for people who have difficulty sitting on the floor.
